- How do I mix the Jintropin powder?
Hold the diluent ampoule by the top and bottom while
wrapped in a small towel and carefully snap it open.
Take care not to cut yourself on the glass or destroy
the ampoule completely.
Draw up the diluent with your injection syringe and
inject it slowly into the Jintropin vial through the
rubber middle part on the cap. You may need to repeat
this process twice if you are using a 0.5mL capacity
injection syringe. Keep the Jintropin sterile by
wiping the vial top with a sterile swab before
inserting the syringe.
Slowly roll the Jintropin vial between your palms
until the powder is completely dissolved. Do NOT shake
the vial as this may damage the Jintropin, but just be
patient, turning the vial round until you have a
completely clear liquid.
You can now use an injection syringe to draw up the
required amount of Jintropin for injection. 0.1mL (or
0.1CC) of solution from the Jintropin vial corresponds
to 1IU.
